New iphone 14 was a great experience!

My wife and I purchased a new iphone 14 at the Fernandina Beach store in Fernandina Beach, FL. The associate was 9 months pregnant but so focused on what she was doing, we were complete in less than an hour. It was amazing to see someone work at such a high level of efficiency. She migrated the data from the old phone, helped us find the Otter case we wanted, and explained the terms (which were excellent I might add). Xfinty has been a wonderful experience for us since we moved from T-Mobile a year ago (sorry T-Mobile!! - you were awful, and very expensive with poor coverage). We also switched to Xfinity internet a year ago and we have never looked back. This company has great products at great prices, and they hire qualified people. Thank you Xfinity!!!!! Please keep up the great service. I would like to add that the iPhone plan was not marked up like the previous carrier did. We love the terms and the phone. VERY SATISFIED!! Marc

They are trying to always blame my modem router, new, two techs said the issue is at the utility box, but try to keep pushing their modem router, why don't they pay for it, I am sick of this bull, I work from home, losing part of my paychecks, internet been down more than up for 6 mo. Wants me to check with neighbors about their internet, I don't have time for this.

We pay over 300 a monthly recently was pushed an update which knocked out my internet spent 2 days trying to fix through automated system. Finally got someone on the phone and being told I have to pay 100 dollars to have a technician come to my home. Xfinity is the worst provider I've had in a long time and they charge you a fortune for crappy service hoping to find an alternative.

hit or miss

It really depends who you get on the phone. Yes getting to a live person is a nightmare. You're calling for billing and the system insists you are having technical problems which isn't the case at all. Sometimes you have to spend multiple days and hours on the phone to get the credit back for any overcharges but today I got really lucky and with no problem at all I got what I was owed. I was never informed of tech in person charges and yet charged $200 for the 2 visits plus $15 for shipment of the streaming device which I was speficially told I would not be charged for in the online chat window. This tells me the operational units in this company are so disconnected one from another, it's easy to be deceptive toward the customer and charge them in the end. Try fairshake.com for any legal disputes and always include the $20 legal fee in the total you want back. Xfinity is like optimum in NY. Same foreign owner most likely, same almost-fraud-like issues, same crappy customer service. Although hoping based on today's experience with a foreign-accent woman rep, it would get better towards the future.

Way better than the past

I'e been using xfinity for about a year now. Overall i'm happy. Speed as advertized. Pricing after ALL the discounts ... is ok. Customer service is MUCH better than it was in the Comcast days. The one problem is the modem / router. They suck. I've had to replace mine 3 times. I've been in line at customer service with people who have replaced a lot more than that. Just get rid of the lousy black boxes. Range is terrible. Happy to use my own ... if I could. I will renew.

My experience with Xfinity is mixed

My experience with Xfinity is mixed, primarily because of their overpriced subscription cost. For the last 6 months they have wasted my time and I'm more and more frustrated. When I access my voicemail, instead of taking me to my account page to view any messages, they take me to a page asking for my cell phone number. I don't have cell phone. I have complained about this constantly, via feedback form right on the Xfinity voice mail page, with no success. I can't get them to stop wasting my time forever. Sadly every company, wants to know every damn thing about you and you cannot stop them from asking forever. I've had enough of this arrogant stupidity. My next step if they don't stop is to complain to the FTC who have been very helpful in the past with my Xfinity issues in the past.

My internet connection wasn't connecting and I could not figure out why. I called at 3am and costumer service was still available. Not only that when we couldn't figure it out they sent out a tech his name is Jake he is a really friendly Polynesian man I wish I had his last name because he had a great attitude fixed everything and I feel he deserves recognition for not only his efficient work but also for his awesome attitude. It's people like him who make u wanna stay a costumer for a company. Being friendly is surprisingly effective regardless the quality. Although, Still the quality is great too! :) Very good costumer service and even programs for low income so no one has to go without. The help goes a long way! Thanks again to Jake!

My service has honestly been solid

My service has honestly been solid. They do need more competition because prices should be going down at this point for high speed internet.

As soon as I enrolled in ACP via…

As soon as I enrolled in ACP via Xfinity, I started experiencing interference with my WIFI. I was connected, but oftentimes without internet. I had a basic home internet package with Xfinity months prior and loved it, no issues until I enrolled with the Affordable Connectivity Program. When I first starting experiencing these issues I called right away, only to have an Xfinity Agent try to up-sale me. The following month there was an issue with billing where I was over charged. As of now, the interference is currently resolved, but my last two bills are both more with the ACP than what I was paying without it. How can that be? Xfinity will write me lengthy mgs to explain it, but regardless of how they miniplate words, I'm clearly being cheated. I'm also not alone. There's tons of threads I found online where many people are experiencing the same problem. No one who's low income deserves this kind of headache, I regret even enrolling in this program. Someone needs to get involved and correct them for their questionable business practices, especially when a Federal program is involved.

Not too shabby..

Not too shabby... I have the prepaid Internet and it serves me well. For $45/month, I get decent Internet for my apartment. Been a customer of Xfinity Prepaid for about 3 months and I ain't got no complaints. Yeah... the $80 startup cost is kinda high, BUT you keep the modem and it also comes with a month of service. Try that with their postpaid offers. You rent the modem in those instances. The only downside? When I tried to check if service was available online at my new address, it told me that there was service at the address I was to be moving into. I had that fixed by going into a Boost Mobile store (which is authorized to resell the service) and they corrected it quickly. Well, I had to wait about an hour to get it fixed, luckily there was a Little Caesar's next door to get some lunch to pass time but it was easy and the weird thing about it was that my service had been activated the day before I moved into my place so all I had to do was connect my modem to the coax jack, plug it in, and soon enough I was blaring music on my TV on YouTube ten minutes afterwards so I could unpack my stuff. I recommend this.

Professionalism at its best

A true competent and professional Cable/internet with a very pleasant attitude technician by the name Joe, was at my resident location today and no I don’t know the gentleman and never met him in life, rectified the problem that we have been having for months, and took care of it in less than an hour inside the premises and outside my resident... Very appreciative and grateful to Xfinity technician and to Xfinity company, and thank you. Sincerely: Robert

Don't do It! Don't go to xfinity on Ironton St. in Aurora, Colorado

At the xfinity store on Ironton in Aurora, Colorado, is not the place to be. DO NOT go to this store. The tech and his "boss' had no clue how to help me with my cell phone. There only suggestion was to take it to "You Break it! We fix it". My phone is not broken as my husband is having the same problem with his. I know one of the problems was my age. They can't seem to get it into their head that not all seniors are savvy about technology but... I went in with notes and lists of questions and all I really came away with was the guy could alphabetize. That must be a new qualification for a job in technology.

I would call it fraud, if xfinity would insist on the charge, which they didn"t. So no worries any more this time.

Hello, I am from Germany and just moved here. I have never been tricked and deceived like this before. This is really amazing. I bought internet at home and opted for "bring your own" to install it myself, and of course I signed that if I needed help with the installation I would have to use and pay for the professional installation service. Xfinity had to activate my modem so I could install. But that always failed. So a service technician had to come. He said it was not activated properly by his colleagues. I asked him a few times if there was anything I could have done to get my service working. He said NO. Guess what happened? I was billed for the cost of the tech service ($100). They would give me a 50% discount on their error! Isn't that a great offer! Even the superwiser didn't acknowledge the error on Xfinity's part. They also didn't try to ask the technician to confirm my statement. Therefore I find it a very weak performance it represents for me an abuse of a position of power! In my opinion, this has nothing to do with customer service! For me, never again Xfinity. Update: one day after my comment here, i got a call of xfinity with an excuse and i get a refund. The person was very friendly. Nevertheless, the first contact to customers should can be optimzed. This lifts it up to 2 Stars in my opinion.

Amazing Customer Service Agent ALMOST Makes Up For Horrible Experiences

TL;DR Xfinity itself is still trash, but if you call tech support and happen to get Mr. Bill on the East Coast you are in good hands! I have used Xfinity's higher end package for several years now and have had issues the entire time. Mostly minor issues but every once in awhile an issue occurs that makes my internet nigh unusable. Without warning. As someone who has a decent amount of conferences this is quite problematic. The most recent issue I had was drops in my upload speed exclusively. The download and ping would remain fine but my upload speed plummeted for random periods of time. Meaning nobody could understand me as I tried to give presentations. I have had this issue before. At that point I would have given Xfinity one or two stars. They took forever to solve the issue (which I still do not know the cause) and the customer service was the same as every other review you see for Xfinity. Garbage. This time, however, I was able to connect with a representative named Mr. Bill. Unlike any other tech support person I have talked to, Bill seemed to ACTUALLY LISTEN as I described my problems. He didn't just recommend that I rent their modem (he DID recommend it but once I declined that was that). He made the usual offers for promotions and what not, but when he was not doing that he truly seemed interested in solving my issue and that is entirely new to me. We talked for some length of time and he ran down a checklist of possible issue that other reps had never offered me before. Once those were exhausted he set up an appointment to have technicians come and examine the cable coming into my home directly. No hassle whatsoever. If I could give an individual review, I would certainly give Bill five stars. Even though my issue was not resolved that day and I had to schedule an appointment with technicians I finally felt as if someone was trying to solve my problems and not just sell me something. Thank you again Bill. I hope you are getting the treatment you deserve from this user unfriendly company.
