My bad experience started with trying to pay for the order with my Amex. I tried several times and it was impossible. Site was not responding. I was able only to use PayPal. The second and the worst part started when I got the conformation from the company that LaserShip delivered my order. It was nowhere found. I was able to find the step by step delivery explanation where it said that my package “ was left in the lobby”. I live in the Bronx in the building of 6 stories with 8 apartments on each one. There is no actual lobby in our building just steps to the first floor where we have mailboxes. Everyone who gets inside can pick up what he wants from the floor . We have mostly honest neighbors living in the building but we also can not know everyone. To leave something that costs$99 on the floor is not safe unfortunately. This kind of “delivery” is a gamble . I did not receive my order . I can not rate my experience any other then a failure with this company . I definitely can not recommend to gamble with them. P.S. a couple days later my package was found in different building across the street . Nice friendly person brought it to me . The address on a package was correct but it was delivered to the lobby of the wrong building not to my door as supposed to be . The shoes are nice. However, the sizes are way way too small for European feet - I ordered half a size up from my usual size, and they were tiny. EDIT: It looks like sizes do not actually run small; rather the model I had ordered (Melia) was just very uncomfortable at the heel; when I ordered a size up they were obviously huge for my feet, so it’s a problem with the model being uncomfortable, rather than too small.

Initially ordered 2 pairs of ARIA 5 that ended up not working for my wide feet. Customer service was very helpful and recommended 2 alternative styles that are better for wide feet (MARGOT and TAMIA) and sent them at no extra cost. I was very pleased when I discovered VIVAIA in October 2021. What a perfect idea, I thought, and the shoes seemed very nice. I paced my first order almost immediately. 2 pairs of shoes were delivered within an acceptable timeline. I was pleased with the shoes, even though I had to compromise on a colour of one pair because the shade I wanted was not available. I ordered my size and also ½ larger because I injured my right foot and wanted to make sure that the right shoe is not too tight. The shoes are comfortable and both sizes are fine. Since that time I tried several times to order more shoes, but the styles or colours in my size were always sold out. Eventually I did place 2 more orders, compromising on colours and styles. My last order had to be amended because of the stock shortage. I was asked to choose a different pair within the same price range. I opted for a different pair and was told to wait for my package. About 2 weeks later, and no sign of the package, I contacted the customer service. I was told that my order was cancelled due to stock issues. It was not ideal that I was not proactively informed of the cancelation. Having said that, the customer service is responsive but not always proactive. I try to supporting companies with eco-friendly, sustainable solutions, and like the shoes, so will persevere with VIVAIA. It is worth noting that there is an optional "Shipping Insurance: £1.66" which is automatically added to the bill. This does not seem logical, so I questioned it, but received no explanation. If this is optional why there is no option to opt in, rather than opt out? Does it mean that if not paid, orders may not arrive or arrived damaged? The company should be fully responsible for a safe delivery of orders to customer doors. If £1,66 is need to insure this, the fee should be included in the price, rather than being optional. This is not a significant amount of money but a matter of principle. The company recently changed the website name from vivaiacollection.com to vivala.com. Ps. Thank you for the response and the clarification. I’ve checked with the bank regarding the refund and it has been confirmed that the money was made available.

I nearly ordered two pairs to save shipping, but was disappointed at not having received a reply to "live chat", so I took my chances and ordered one. I really like the shoes you get from vivaia, specially the thought that they are sustainable and easily washable. As you might have the same problem, like my light Ballerinas/Slippers always get dirty so easily.. but these, you simply put them in the washing machine and that's it - they look like new again 😃 and I washed it now 4-5 times - still good! I ordered the Tracy Heel in both ivory and black in the same size. They both came in the same size but one was significantly larger than the other and one of the heels was scuffed and damaged. I contacted VIVAIA and they responded quickly and offered a partial refund as monetary compensation, which was nice. However when I actually got to wear my heels. I got blisters on my toes and even a bleeding heel. I was so angry and disappointed because they claimed to be comfortable and does not cause blisters but I got the same outcome as other shoes I’ve tried except I had paid 3 times more than I normally would. These are not life-changing shoes and definitely not worth the price.

After seeing many FB feeds about this company, I decided to try them out during the Black Friday sales. I got a couple of pairs of shoes based on the positive reviews & their sustainability ethos. Although I got my usual size they did feel a bit firm but have since stretched. Do not order from this company! I wish I had done my due diligence. Do yourself a favor and read just a few of their reviews regarding their customer service. What is laughable is that they respond to every one star review on here and act like they fixed the problem. Do yourself another favor and jump on over to the Better Business Bureau website and see that they have an F rating. I wish all the one star reviewers on here would go to Better Business Bureau and submit a complaint. First of all they manufacture in China, and you know what a nightmare it is to receive things from China. I purchased the flat, black pointed toe heeled loafers in August 2022. The heel fell off one of the loafers, so I sent a photo to Vivaia on 11/30, asking for help with the situation. On 12/7, they offered me either a cash refund or another pair of shoes. I promptly chose another paid of shoes...and haven't heard from them since! Every seven days, I email customer service, asking for an update...absolutely no reply. On 12/22, I finally said, "Forget the replacement pair of loafers, just refund my money." Again, no reply. Trust me! Don't buy from this website! They are a scam! I bought a pair of boots from them on Nov 20th. I asked for a refund after they were delivered. Replied to their email with the information. 11/09 Lacking a response from them, I sent the info, again 11/10 Vivaia advised they will process the exchange request & will give me a new tracking number, LATER. 11/15 Vivaia advised they were sending the exchange in 2 shipments. 11/15 I advised I received 1 of the 2 shipments. 11/16 Vivaia advised the other package was on the way and provided a tracking number. 11/27 Received the 3 pairs of shoes, but they were now too small. NO PAPERWORK was enclosed in the boxes, so there was no order number to reference for the return. Horrible returns service. I bought 3 pairs of shoes during Black Friday sales and requested for return on 25 Nov. They confirmed receipt of returned items by 28 Nov. But have yet to ship me the exchanged size of the 3 pairs of shoes. Do not buy from them as they barely respond even after I’ve sent many emails. So now, not only have they not refunded my money or they also haven’t given me exchanged shoes.
