Great product, sketchy installation

There were a couple minor issues with getting the product scheduled and delivered but once it was installed, everything has been working rather nicely. I use it almost every day and haven't had any issues to speak of. At one point it was making a funny noise but I googled it and their website had a support page and it was very easy to correct. Overall I'm quite satisfied.

Great while it works, but it doesn't work for long

I bought a Tonal second hand but almost brand new. Before I bought it I talked to Tonal and they informed me that the warranty would not transfer but they would support the product. After 2 months of total use, in the middle of a workout, the screen goes white. The program is still running in the background but nothing can be seen. After powering the device off and trying to reset it multiple times, I called Tonal. Eventually, customer support emailed me back. They said that since I was the second owner they would not do anything to help. Two representatives offered to remotely access the Tonal and try a reset, but they were overridden by customer support. They told me that this is a known software issue but won't give me any details or try to fix it. I offered to pay for a technician to fix the product or to exchange the original Tonal for a new one at a discounted price, and they refused. The only thing that they would be willing to do was sell me a new Tonal at the upcoming sale price, $50 less than the current price. The idea and programs are great when it works. I really enjoyed using it. Unfortunately, the quality and reliability is poor and it rarely works for long. Even though Tonal told me they would support the device, they don’t. Bottom line is that once the warranty has expired and it malfunctions, which frequently happens judging from reviews and their customer service, all you have is a $4000 wall hanging.

My Best purchase in years.

This has been a wonderful add to my home and my fitness life. Having such a dynamic machine at home has allowed me to be able to vary my workouts everyday and achieve some incredible personal fitness goals. It’s the best investment you can make in yourself and your health.

I absolutely LOVE Tonal

I absolutely LOVE Tonal. After. A year with a personal trainer at a facility, it was time to make a change. The diversity of workouts as well as the convenience of working out at home, allows me to workout everyday before getting ready for work. I have followed 2 programs (Coach Nicolette and Coach Paul are amazing) as well as tried several different types of workouts. Recovery and Mobility, building muscle, getting lean, yoga, Pilates, are just the tip of the iceberg of possibilities on Tonal. I have seen immense physical growth and feel so much stronger in the mere 10-12 weeks since receiving my Tonal. Tonal has helped me continue my fitness journey and bring it to another level.

Tonal is a game changer in fitness

Tonal is a very well made fitness product that has greatly enhanced my physical fitness. It is compact, takes up very little space. The resistance is powerful and smooth. The arms move to enable a wide range of workouts. The programming and features are excellent. I highly recommend this product.

Tonal

Tonal. It’s a TOTAL game changer. I am so much stronger thanks to Tonal and it’s great coaches. I can also create my own workout based on my specific needs. There is clear instruction on how to properly move, to protect yourself. It has a built in spotter. The programs and great and there is also yoga, barre, cardio, recovery classes and more. I purchase my Tonal right before the Pandemic hit, and it helped me maintain my sanity during lockdown. Now that gyms are opening, I don’t need a membership. My Tonal is one of the best investments to health that I have ever made.

Average joe bragging on his Tonal

I've had my Tonal for about 6 months. I've worked through many of it's benefits and seen some of its minor flaws. I'm not a crazy athlete anymore, I'm in my mid 40's, I have a typical dad-bod and I work 50+ hours a week. What I'v seen with Tonal is a machine and workout program that has forced me out of my comfort zone, made me pursue fitness from angles I never looked at before, and is so convenient and user friendly I couldn't think of not having one anymore. I highly recommend Tonal to many, and even though there are areas of legs it does miss on, it well makes up for it in almost every other area. I also love the music settings and playlists that are available as well. Well worth the money!!!

We have had the tonal since March 21 and absolutely love it! It's a wonderful addition to our home workout room. Being able to go workout at anytime makes it easier for both my husband and myself. The new live workouts are amazing!

Best purchase I’ve ever made…

Tonal has been the single best purchase I’ve ever made in my life. I am able to wake up and be working out within 3 minutes of getting out of bed. Being able to have a trainer instruct me makes it mindless and easy to bear down and get the workout in. I am currently in the best shape if my life, even as an ex college athlete. I would recommend Tonal to anyone. I tell people all the time that if I came home and saw someone broke in and stole my Tonal, the first thing I’d do is buy another one.

Love my tonal!

One of the biggest obstacles I have had with regularly exercising is the time commitment of driving to and from a gym (often adds 30-40 minutes onto my time). Having a one-stop replacement for almost all of the strength training equipment at a gym has been great for my motivation, I can roll out of bed and knock out my workout before starting work and not have to worry about fitting it into my schedule. The classes are great and there's definitely enough content to last me for a very long time without repeating anything (plus more added all the time)!
