I’m posting about the facts of my experience here as a warning to others, since I have tried to do the same on the StubHub community forum and the company removes my posts every time (why would they do that, I wonder?). I purchased front row tickets to Dead & Company at Saratoga Springs on June 18, 2023 about 9 months prior for $3,000 total (2 tickets, plus StubHub’s massive “service fees”). I also booked a hotel in Saratoga for the event since the venue is about a 4 hour drive from my home. On June 17 (24 hours before the show) when the tickets were scheduled to be transferred, they did not arrive. I spent probably 3 hours attempting to speak to customer service, being put on hold and getting dropped. I was told by customer service that they had spoken to the seller / owner of the tickets and that he would “resend” them (although I had not received an email in the first place). This was not true, and over the next day and multiple calls to customer service, StubHub finally admitted 5 hours before showtime that they did not have PIT tickets to give me (which I paid for 9 months prior). They offered me $30 lawn tickets as a replacement! I thought they were joking. Meanwhile, they listed many orchestra level tickets on their site that they would not offer as compensation. This would seem to contradict their claim that they “go above and beyond” to replace tickets. Basically, StubHub will take your money for tickets and give themselves a one-way option to sell them at a higher price later if they can, and will only tell you a few hours before your event that you don’t have the tickets you thought you had paid for, had planned around and were waiting for. Sure, they might give you a refund weeks later, but meanwhile you are missing the event you spent a lot of money to attend. You have no recourse. And their incentive is to do this over and over because they can’t lose. I hope this saves others the same agony, frustration and disappointment we experienced. These are not honest people. They exist to rip off fans of music. Stay far away.

These guys are awful... after buying tickets for Elton John's last show EVER in London in Dec, and flying to London for the show from the States, I was told the morning of the show that there were no tickets. This is after I called them three times the day before to find out the status of the tickets which, according to the StubHub email that morning, "had been delivered." Consequently, I had to scramble to find new tickets on the secondary market, and paid about twice as much as the tickets cost when I originally "bought them" in Dec. These guys simply don't care, and are glad to take your money, while you hope they honor their commitment to you and provide the tickets that you buy in good faith. Never using them again.

Had an issue with a seller scamming me with a ticket I bought in March for an event next week! The email support was useless but thankfully read somewhere to talk to the stubhub Twitter support. They messaged my seller for me and my ticket was “no longer available”. I’m flying 3000 miles for this event so was devastated and had already paid thousands, initially I was offered a 125% refund for a new ticket but buying another ticket I was never guaranteed an actual ticket as I was worried it would be a scam again. I insisted on a ticket and sent many comparable ones over and eventually asked how could I speak to a manager or someone who could authorise another ticket for me as I couldn’t call as I’m not in the US. I’m assuming the chat advisor went and asked someone else for me as 5 minutes after sending that message I had an email saying I have a new ticket! I bought tickets to a F1 event where I was seated in the main grandstand. When I looked at the tickets online they were for sitting in the grass. After multiple phone calls to SH, I was told that the seller said the tickets were changed by the event organizer and because they were still valid tickets they were not going to do anything. Putting aside this ridiculous claim, how am I responsible for that? How are they protecting the fans? It's unbelievable.

I was literally sitting in the parking lot of the stadium on the phone with Stubhub. They offered replacement tickets, all the way up in the nose bleed section, behind the stage. They didn't even offer any money back for the difference in seating. I have sold 2 Rammstein tickets using StubHub US and they were sold in 2 separate transactions. Even though I bought the tickets at the same time from Ticketline, Stubhub has canceled one of the 2 transactions multiple times saying the ticket is not valid. When we arrived to the stadium, we could not use the tickets because StubHub had resold the tickets twice. Since the others buyers of the same seats had arrived before us, our tickets were blocked at the entrance and couldn’t be used. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to enter, we lost more than USD 700 in both tickets and missed the concert!!! So, do not get tricked by these StubHub crooks!!!
