So I made a mistake and purchased something on Shein as my friends encouraged me. Without my consent they have stored the credit card information on their website and telling me that it can’t be removed unless I actually do another purchase and at the checkout only at the checkout I will be able to remove it! What a privacy. Don’t make a mistake Don’t use your cards there Nobody knows how secure their website is

I had a terrible experience with online shopping (won't mention the platform). So it took me almost 2 years to order from Shein(many friends in South Africa said you won't be disappointed). And I have just received my parcel. I ordered a lot- 8 blouses/shirts, 1 pair of canvas shoes and got a pair of Slippers at 85% discount as a "new customer ". Wow.... I received emails, voice messages and sms's regarding my order to the time the courier arrived at my door. I was worried. I ordered on the 11.01.2023 & received my order tonight the 18th(7 days) I was expecting order as emailed btw 1-4th Feb. This is a BIG thing in SA. I am so chuffed with all 9 products I received. Have spent £1000's on shein items and I am never disappointed, I always have alot of stuff to send back though, I purchase random bits to see if I like it and 9/10 I love them! I've never had any issues returning but recently I accidentally sent a return back to the wrong address, 3 months later it eventually found Shein.. a couple of emails to Shein and my returns been processed no questions asked. Usual returns are 45 days so really pleased they allowed the returns and refunded original payment method. There customer service is brilliant! Highly recommend Shein for homewares, pet stuff and clothing! ❤️❤️❤️

I am SO frustrated by this company my blood is boiling! I have placed just 2 orders, and so far I have had to return clothes from the first order, but kept 4 items because I did actually like them, so much that I stupidly placed another order. To date I have had no acknowledgment that they have received these, and certainly no refund. The second order I have received just one top so far, and wanted to let them know it's the wrong top, but trying to speak to anyone apart from a robot is like trying to speak to God - sometimes a 'dropdown box' doesn't cover the problem, and you NEED to speak to a human. When I finally managed to get through to someone with a pulse, they couldn't help because I couldn't send them an 'all important photo' of their error (I repeat, THEIR error, NOT MINE), so they said they would get someone to email me, which hasn't happened. I think I should have done more research before I used this company, but I won't be ordering anything else because of my experience... So, as I breathe through a paper bag, to cut what could be a very long and moaning review short, I'm frustrated, annoyed, irritated and somewhat angry, and so I've written this to get it off my chest before I explode! I hate, hate, HATE rubbish customer care, and not being given a quick and easy way to speak to a person is the absolute worst customer care you can get....!!!! I'll finish now, because I have wasted too much of my day on SHEIN....(I would enter 20+ angry face emojis here if I could!!!) UPDATE SINCE MY GRIPE... It seems that Shein actually do read reviews, and have responded, and the first issue is resolved and I have a refund, so thank you for that. If they are reading this, it would be useful if they can understand that I can't take a 'ticket' and speak to a human without it asking for photos, which I cannot attach on my device because it gives me an error message. If I could explain that the wrong item has been delivered. The code on the top does not match the code on the bag - the code of the top I received is sw2206022532732162, the code on the bag is sw2203251100435894, the latter should contain the correct item I ordered. I cannot explain all that to a robot. If anyone is reading this at Shein who isn't a pre-programmed android, I would appreciate it if they could please email me, or Whatsapp me and allow me to attach the necessary photographic evidence of an error that isn't mine? Not a great company to deal with. Returns are hard & not clear what you can or can't return. I bought a body warmer description really not as described thin material & cheaply made with stitching missing in areas & massive .........but I can't return. AVOID.....use companies that are clear & you can do returns it's such a put off & inconvenient. Very disappointed 1st time customer.

The delivery of the dresses I ordered were delayed by 3 weeks amd therefore the occasion i needed them for had passed. When they arrived, the quality of the material was very disappointing. I have tried to return my items and am being told I am unable to. It appears impossible to contact Shein. All I want is a refund!!

I Really Love all the clothes I’ve purchased from shein, never been disappointed with the quality of the clothes too thankfully. However I’ve heard some quite disappointing news about shein in regards to the labour abuse and poor working conditions their workers are put under, some of which are kids. This is really disgusting and I hope they eventually answer for their crimes!

Sent 2 items back myself as the website did not work! I order vanished.reported to BBB who did not get a response.reported to my bank also.In Nov got an email from them stating I had a refund for 1 item.When it failed to come, I had a chat with a rep who said it was now under review! Still waiting. Fraud.read what Wikipedia says about them.Tried to go to site,did not work but found a statement stating refund for $27.15.robot programmed responses failure! No response for refund! Sadly will go to internet crime site with FBI.

They charge extreme fees for when you order over 170$, This is also not clearly written anywhere. Only when i asked for it they suddenly come with a chart you can't find yourself. I now had to send almost everything back because of bad quality and i kept clothes worth of 40$ and have to pay 50$ fees.
