Ninja suggests air roasting sheet pan dinners with protein (such as steak, poultry, or shellfish), vegetables, and seasonings in their oven. I was pleased with the outcome after following the recipe for Spicy Chicken, Sweet Potatoes, and Broccoli in the oven guide. In just 22 minutes, all of the ingredients (about 3 pounds total) were lightly browned and soft, making a wonderful sheet pan meal for four. This strategy appears to be an excellent use for this device.

 Baking

Although you won't be able to put a complete loaf or Bundt pan in this Ninja, you can bake a cake or muffins in a shallow pan or tiny items like cookies directly on the sheet pan. Biscuits are baked just as well as they would in a regular oven

In barely 20 minutes, the chicken breasts were juicy and cooked on all sides. Even when cooked well done, however, steaks appeared grey on the surface and had no resemblance to broiled or grilled meat. As a result, while this oven is quick, it lacks the constant scorching that broiling provides.

Dehydrating

Despite the Ninja's broad air fry basket holding more food than a standard air fryer (or the racks in a toaster oven), it can only dry a modest amount of food. I was rewarded with a little bowl of banana chips after running the dehydrator for 10 hours. At the very least, the machine functioned quietly

Keep Warm

For two hours, the Ninja held a tiny macaroni and cheese casserole at a safe serving temperature. However, as you might anticipate, the food had dried out by that point. You're usually better off just warming meals in the microwave if you're not planning to serve it within a half-hour or so.
