Beware….. I will not order anymore because if you make and exchange they will not refund your money any time soon but they have no problems taking your money at the time of the purchase. Horrible customer service nothing but excuses and they never let you talk to a manager or anyone in the warehouse. It has been a month since my return, after reading the reviews it looks like it will be another month if ever.
Extremely rude customer service with absolutely no knowledge of anything. Obviously CS is in another country and has no answers to anything, waste of time to contact on top of being rude. I will never purchase from them again.

I have always like their clothes even before they became New York and Company. What is absolutely unforgivable is their return policy. No one should have to wait over two months for a reimbursement of a returned item. I have read other reviews and this reeks of a class action law suit.
I sent my return and was received by them March 2, it is now 4.12.23 and they keep saying warehouse is under construction and backed up. They give no resolution and will keep lying. Do not buy anything from them. Awful company. Dispute your charges asap.

It is now April 10 and I have yet to receive my refund or to hear from them. I have called twice and the customer service representative tells me the items were received on March 2, but the warehouse is backed up and slow in sending refunds. I will never shop again with this company and do not recommend it. Update on April 24: I have finally received my refunds for my two returned items.

Like so many others here, I returned all the items for two orders totaling well over $300 Early March. The return is confirmed to be received by New York and Co as of March 20, 2023 but still no refund to my Ny&Co cc for one order or my Afterpay account for the other order 30 days later. I have called multiple times and get no resolution from the Customer service service representative. All they keep doing is reading from a script, telling me about the warehouse being backed up, and how only the warehouse supervisor can issue the refunds, and asking me to be patient. I have their cc and have been a customer for more than 20 years and absolutely loved their product. But since they’ve gone fully on line, they’re customer service has become nothing more than trash!! 30 Days for a refund?? Between this and the length of time it takes to get an order they have have placed a nail in the coffin and lost me forever!! I told them that I would be filing a complaint with the U.S. Attorney General. Like another consumer mentioned in their post, with all of theses similar complaints I feel like they are doing this deliberately and this is nothing short of fraud! Because if the roles were reversed in some way. They would be sending the consumer to collections!!😡
They are the worst My return was received on March 13, 2023 and on April 11, 2023 I still haven't received a refund. I called my credit card company to dispute it. You speak with someone in India that you barely understand, you ask for a supervisor they refuse to connect you with one and then tell you they will call you back which they never do. All they keep saying is the warehouse is backed up. I shopped there for over 40 years and now are the worst company ever. Its horrible how they treat their customers.
It is the worst experience I have had with a store. I made a purchase and returned it the next day because the size was too big and more than a month has passed since my return and until now I have not received the money, I have called and sent a thousand emails and no one gives you a solution or answer, they only have people without any kind of education who do not give you any solution, please do not waste your money with this store
Based on the reviews and my experience I've been scammed out of my money. Customer service is nonexistent, never got a shipping confirmation, won't cancel an order once it's placed. I wish I had read the reviews before handing over my money. It's as good as gone now. I used to like shopping at this company's brick and mortar stores long ago. Do not order from here. I did receive my one item in fairly decent time, however it was way too large and returned it four days after receiving it. They confirmed it being scanned Jan 18, six weeks later and no refund. Always different excuse, delay in warehouse, equipment not working, lots of refunds to go through. I have escalated claim with payment company I used. Amazing on purchase how it took minutes to take my money, different story when have to refund it!
Their customer service is terrible. When you email to ask about anything you get a canned response. I've been waiting for refunds for items they've acknowledged they received (after several emails) more than a month ago. Their reply is to restate the return policy on their website, which says that returns are processed in 7-10 business days. I've waited about 30 business days and have now disputed the charges with my credit card company. Last month I emailed about exchanging an item and getting the same price. They wouldn't match the price because you have to request it within 7 days of your order. I received the order just over 7 days after ordering and found that one of the items didn't fit. I guess we have to be psychic now. It's a shame because I used to really love this store before they closed all the brick and mortar locations.

I used to love this store and in many ways, still do. I wish their brick and mortor would return. It's so much easier. The shipment takes so long. You pay for expedited shipment and your items are almost 2 weeks getting to you. They cannot blame the weather either!
I will not order anymore because if you make and exchange they will not refund your money any time soon but they have no problems taking your money at the time of the purchase they keep giving you and excuse
