Haven't refunded me after a week-odd. Two things went back in the same box, one refunded the other being processed. None of them seem unduly fussed, certainly not enough to respond to emails. This is a lot of money of mine. I'll give them a few more days as per the regulations then report to trading standards.

Love the offeringz on Mr. Porter but BEWARE, tried to return a $200 steamer that was non functional, had to make a video prior to sending the item back to demonstrate it was non operational. Called customer service to credit my account, and they sent another damaged steamer to me. 3 months later and 1/2 dozen phone calls they credited my account after I disputed the entire transaction with Amex. Worst in class customer service.

Astonishingly poor service, but it's been going downhill for years. Any issue you have will be dismissed as due to wear and tear. Bear in mind they took almost a month to come to this conclusion after being provided with photographic evidence (I was told 3-5 days), so now I have a two month old unwearable Stone Island Jumper. As per other reviewers on here, expect patronising emails that clearly demonstrate your previous correspondence hasn't been read. The list goes on, and then when you explain you will be seeking redress from your card provider you're threatened with being 'banned'. If it wasn't so bad it would be funny. But it's not. Plenty of other retailers out there, so avoid Mr P if you can unless things improve dramatically.

Absolutely awful. AVOID AVOID. Placed an order a month ago. Not received. DHL delivered to wrong address. No helpful response from DHL so Mr Porter won’t refund despite it being law under the Consumer Rights Act that they must refund after 30 days. They won’t do anything until they hear from DHL. ABSOLUTELY COMPLETELY HOPELESS customer service.

There wasn’t any indication during the order process that there were shipping charges which constituted 40% of the entire cost! I got to know only after I checked out and paid! This is clearly misleading the consumers. I will file a complaint against the relevant authorities and I will not buy from Mr Porter again.

I’ve been using this company for years - in fact I’d stopped using many other designer retailers in preference Mr Porter’s range of products and customer service. However recently it’s obvious it cares less and less about customer service. Wrong items delivered and ridiculously protracted exchange mechanism. You also get patronising responses (clearly demonstrating your emails haven’t been read) using stock phraseology. Worse, they actually pitch you to buy more from them in the email reply (you literally are complaining about them not getting your order right and they think it’s acceptable to recommend you buy something else). Mr Porter you need to go back to formula because you just aren’t doing what you used to do best. Sadly, having spent many thousands over the years with you, I’ll be going back to End, Farfetch and others (I’ve read your banal stock responses to the many poor reviews on here, please don’t make it worse by doing so in response to this)

I purchased an item from the online store, which unfortunately did not meet the standards that I expected from MR Porter. The wool of the product has been unraveling, and the sleeves are faring out after only a few uses. I had contacted the team immediately upon discovering these issues, and I was informed that the matter would be investigated. However, it has been over a month, and I have not received any further updates or resolutions. Waiting 32 days for a response is unacceptable for any business and is no way to treat your valued customers. IMPORTANT: the reaction from MR Porter that the issue has been resolved is not true and therefore do not believe it. They did not help me in any matter (yet)!

Disgusting service from Mr Porter. I purchased two airs of shoes from them at a cost of £1390. DHL delivered the shoes a day early and left them on my doorstep. They where stolen. I contacted Mr Porter, who have told me that as I selected no signature delivery for my parcel I could not get a refund. i explained to them that I never selected this option. I received an email from DHL saying I could have a no contact delivery which I did not choose. Apparently though I selected this option at checkout on Mr Porter's site. I didn't. It appears that Mr Porter did. When you order anything from Mr Porter and go to the checkout page you are presented with your address and there is an edit button underneath to change delivery address. My address was correct, so no need to edit. Next field is "packaging" and this is filled out as basic. there is an edit button which gives you the option of basic cardboard packaging or Mr Porter signature packaging. Basic is fine - so no need to go into the edit button. the third option is shipping options. the one pre-selected is "standard free shipping in 3 days or less" that delivery option is fine by me, so no need to edit. You then enter your payment details and pay. No, you are then leaving yourself liable for any lost or stolen action. Why? Because underneath the shipping option is another edit box. Clicking on this takes you to a page that lists Next Business Day - £10 Nominated Day - £10 Standard Free delivery and underneath that, in a pre-filled checkbox it says "Deliver my package without collecting a signature. I accept responsibility for any loss or damage that may occur" If you do not go into this edit box you will not see this pre-checked box. This is hidden away and is an unfair business practice to the benefit of the customer according to legal advice I have taken. On one of my many calls I was told that their policy is always to get a signature on any order over £500. However, a month after purchase I received this email where they say "Please be aware that if no signature was collected, you agreed to our terms and conditions and took full responsibility for any loss or damage that may have occurred. After further investigation, DHL have concluded that the shipment has been delivered correctly and have closed the investigation. To ensure that the parcel reaches you in the future, we recommend that you use DHL On Demand, where you can request to leave the parcel at a certified DHL service point, reschedule the delivery, redirect the shipment to a different address within your country, and make other requests." I am taking this further and will never use this company again.

The Mr Porter people putting their own labels on items are making frequent mistakes so they do not correspond to the actual brand sizes marked in stock on the website, purchased and delivered. The continuing confused dual system of delivery with premier used for some orders and dhl used for others is a nightmare for consumers' delivery and return even if easier for Mr Porter. You would have thought they would have worked out by now what premium service is!

This company is a joke. Customer service representatives are the worst in the business, as evidenced by numerous complaints below. Mr Porter made me pay for special shipping only to have it delivered at a place 2 miles away. I had to pay for transportation and spend time to get a package that I already paid delivery for. Luxury Brands represented by Mr Porter are doing themselves a huge disservice, because Mr Porter fails them spectacularly, consistently. I’ll be writing to channel managers of Ralph Lauren and other brands to inform them of the quality of service at Mr Porter. I hope, with the evidence I will show from the reviews here, that they delist. This will avoid brands being devalued by Mr Porters absent service.

I've been buying from Mr Porter for a few years. I've always love their services. They will ship my items within 24 hours. They are also quick in response to my queries and hassle free even in doing returns. Mr Porter allows the courier services to collect the item from me at my preferred date and it's all expense paid.
