Awful!!! It's been a month and still haven't received my glasses. I originally received my glasses and the order was totally incorrect. It did not have the features that I ordered - make sure to get a screenshot of your order confirmation because there's no way that you can check your order afterwards! Customer service claimed there was nothing that they could do until I returned the glasses. Now - they're saying that I need to choose a new frame that's the same price or cheaper because it's out of stock or get a refund despite the fact it'd be wasting my vision benefits if I returned the glasses. They didn't even offer to use the frame that I have or for me to pay the difference in price.
LensCrafters in Austin Street, Queens, NY. is worst LensCrafters in US. It’s also worst vision center I’ve ever visited in United States. I took two pair of Prada Eye Glases under warranty and request they replace the nose grips. I was informed no one was available to assist me at that time. I was advised to leave my glasses and I would receive a call. I waited one hour and returned to find my glasses laying on counter untouched. I have never had this type of trouble at any vision center In United States. The reason I use LensCrafters was because I walked into LensCrafters in Hawaii and they fixed my glasses in ten minutes so LensCrafters has become my vision center since. This place on Austin Street in Queens in the worst place in United States.
I ordered mine 12/23/22 and just got them 1/18/23 and only after calling and calling. I asked for a cleaning cloth and was told that is what the bag is for. It does not work well. They did not offer me a cloth or cleaning kit, just kept asking me to buy the protection plan. My wife and I purchased glasses at Kaiser, Costco and Lenscrafters. We paid far more at Lenscrafters than either of the other 2 and received better service at both of the others. Will definitely never go back.
They lie about when you should get your glasses.... Don't waste no time getting your money or insurance but can't honor they own policy... Will not be using them again because they are not professional...
I placed an order for my prescription glasses since December the 14th, 2022. Today is January the 16th, 2023, I have not even got a phone call from any representative to let me know what’s going on, let alone the glasses. I myself called a few times to hear excuses like it’s the holidays, inspection issue, or manufacturing material issue. This was my first time shopping with this scammer business and it will be my LAST TIME.
Get your glasses anywhere else but LensCrafters ay the Northshore Mall in Peabody, MA. I went to LensCrafters on the advice of my Vision insurance provider. I ordered two pair of glasses on December 9, 2022. it's now January 14th, 2023 and I not only don't have my glasses yet, but they still can't tell me when I can expect them. I have spoken with local managers and a regional manager. They were very pleasant but ZERO help. I'm 67 years old. I need these glasses as my prescription has recently changed and my eyesight is poor. Never never again will I go to LensCrafters and I have instructed my Vision Insurance provider not to recommend them to anyone else.
I was in Lenscrafters last week because I had broken my glasses & was greeted & helped by the associate there, she let me know they no longer had the Coach frames & the frames could not be repaired but suggested I go online to find the same type of frame & then bring them back so that they could change the lens from my broken pair to the new pair @ no cost, she wrote down the measurements also for me, I ordered a pair of frames online & when I received them I took them into Lencrafters & the associate replaced the lens for me @ no cost, both associates that I dealt with were very professional & very helpful I would refer everyone I know to try Lencrafters when they need eye glasses.
I was in Texas visiting family. Outside a busy store…I dropped my glasses didn’t notice for a while and then….smash they were dead. We found a lens crafter store in Uptown Village…Leo went above and beyond what I would expect…:he got some new frames and lens…(I am blind without them) in about 30 minutes he got it Done. He couldn’t do the bifocals but he set it up in the computer so when I get home I can go to my local Lens Craft and they can get bifocal without out an hassle o appreciated his great attitude. I will be a customer for Lens thanks to Leo.

I broke both my plastic frames arms. I went to LensCrafter in Slidell, La. and after about 30 minutes of working hard trying to get my lens in the frame Tina got them in. My lens are very thick and, so, hard to fit in the grooves, but Tina and Lee were very patient and very helpful and did not give up and got the lens in the frame. I will definitely go back when it's time to get a new set of glasses.
Made an appointment for eye exam using my in Aetna in network vision coverage. After driving there and giving them my insurance card they then told me I was not covered and had to pay out of my pocket. I was very disappointed and later went online to check and it was a provider and it accepted my coverage. I called Aetna and they said I should of been able to get free in network coverage and no out of pocket eye exam and $100 allowance toward prescription lenses. This was a waste of my time and the only reason I wanted to use Lenscrafter is because of their new Clarifye technology vision exam. Now I keep getting emails to re-schedule my exam before this year ends in 3 days left.

Latoya Dixon Saved the Day! Received my new glasses from the LensCrafters store at 2050 Broadway, but they didn't seem right. In spite of numerous evaluations by staff I was told that I had to get used to them. After over a month I was finally seen by Latoya who solved the problem. She is extremely knowledgeable, competent and a pleasure to work with. l
I found out the hard way that lenscrafters.com is not the same as the LensCrafters brick and mortar walk in stores. I figured it was simple to order my contact lenses online and it was indeed a simple process to do it. After identifying yourself and creating an account you enter in your contact lens information choose the store where you were examined and the name of the optometrist who did the exam and then wait for verification of your script. Afterwards, they will ship your order. What could go wrong with that? My contact lenses came just in time for a short four day trip I was on. I snapped off a row of each box tossed them in my luggage, and when I got to my destination- the next morning, I couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t see out of my right eye? A family member helped me to realize that my right eye was wrong. They sent me the wrong number instead of a +3.75 I was sent a -3.75. Fortunately, I had a few pair of my old script in my car. I called customer service and explained the error and asked how that happens if the doctor verifies the script?? I was told that it shouldn’t happen, but there was no problem and she’d immediately ship out the correct contact lens . When I got back home a few days later, I started getting emails saying I needed to verify my prescription ??? she said my contacts would be shipped out, but now I had to get a prescription and verify it. The problem I quickly realized was that no Dr. actually verifies the scripts. In fact, when I called the store at the mall where I had my exam, I was told that they don’t communicate with each other unless lenscrafters.com would call them because they are two separate companies. I was told I would have to have lenscrafters.com call them if they wanted the prescription.(so much for the part of the order process where I selected my Dr and the location) Obviously my first order was sent without verification. So I made a second call and I was told no problem, they would call the brick and mortar store ant the mall near me and have it confirmed. A week later, I was still getting emails saying I needed to verify my prescription. I made a third call to customer service, I was told that the third person would make the call and then I’d have to wait for verification before shipment. At that point I requested a refund . The refund that came through my PayPal account about four days later. In the meantime, I called LensCrafters at the mall and paid to have them ship the right contact lens to my house. I’ve received notification that the shipment is on its way so it has taken roughly 2 weeks to straighten this mess out. I don’t advise anyone to make the same mistake that I made. Either just go back to the brick and mortar store and order your lenses or don’t deal with them at all. It’s ludicrous that this isn’t the same company and no layman would have any idea. I think it’s wrong that they request the drs name who wrote the script for verification purposes when they know that the doctor isn’t even going to talk to them or see the order. Bad business!
I just wanted to share my experience at LensCrafters store in Devonshire Mall, Windsor ON. I would like to say a “big thank you” to Sandra, an amazing sales associate, who served me very professionally. I very much appreciate her service and would for sure come back again and ask for her and refer friends and family to her personally. The store must be proud of her!!.
Glasses broke as I was out, they couldn't fix them permanently, but did a temp fix so I could at least see my way home... And didn't charge me, awesome staff, friendly and an awesome experience with them....
If there were a negative star, I would give it....just the worst customer service, I went back for a second time within 6 months to have the AR coating replaced as it did not hold up again after the first replacement...and they told me it was probably my fault due to the way I was cleaning them!! I have been wearing glasses for over 40 years and never have I been told that, even after I told her I used a microfiber cloth and AR safe cleaner...this manager also went on to say if I had purchased the protection agreement then I would be covered.....isn't that special, because their coating is deficient, I have to pay more money to have the "premium" coating replaced or just live with it....sorry! I will NEVER use Lenscrafters again and will go out of my way to share my experience - just awful!!!
