Ordered 3 items from the clearance sale…

Ordered 3 items from the clearance sale in mid December. Received an email the next day with my tracking information which never changed from tracking label created 2 1/2 weeks later. I did contact customer service on several dates with the same story that tracking is not updating. Mind you, UPS for the most part has never failed me with updating packages in the past from other retailers. I got fed up with waiting and getting the same, it's on the way story, so I filed a PayPal complaint and received my money back the next day. Thank Goodness for PayPal!!!! There are other companies that make similar products that deliver goods as promised. Stay far away from Good American!!!!!

Worst experience I’ve ever had! Bathing suits never delivered! I ordered 3 bathing suits 3 weeks ago and attempted to contact Customer Service, but kept on getting Automated emails. Then I asked for a refund and received another automated email stating that I needed to pay a $5.00 restocking fee for bathing suits that were never delivered to me! “Going to contact my bank to begin a dispute of the charge!

Doesn’t even deserve 1 star. If your from the UK, make sure you get the sizing right as there are no international returns or exchanges which is what they told me. Unfortunately i didn’t check the trustpilot reviews prior else i most definitely would not have purchased. Awful company ran by punks. Emma grede & khloe kardashian shameful

Zero customer service. WILL NEVER ORDER AGAIN

As I read about the reviews here, it seems like everyone experienced the same terrible shipping arrangement and customer services. I placed an order on Dec 23rd and it notified me that it was shipped the next day. When there was no update on the tracking two weeks later, I contacted them via the website, no response. I tried getting some help on their instagram, they replied reassuring me that the shipment is on its way. Another week goes by, its been well over 3 weeks since they claimed the shipment is on its way. No update on DHL tracking still. I called DHL, they told me the package has not even been sent, only initiated!! Tried contacting the company again, no response. I would've understood if the shipment is simply stuck on its way over due to the supply chain issue. But to not even send the items out after 3 WEEKS is just completely the company's fault. I will NEVER order again no matter how good the quality of the jeans may be, if I ever even receive them.

Good and Bad

Disappointed. My first order of jeans were slightly too big around the butt and thighs but I liked them enough to keep and decided to shrink them on my own (successfully) rather than deal with a return. I decided to order another pair a size smaller on 12/30 and on 1/7 received notice that if has shipped. It obviously has not because it still says fedex has not received the item. Another week later and I have a trip this Friday that I ordered these items for and there’s apparently nothing anyone can do to speak to someone! I’m 100% sure I will not be making a third order. Avoid! At this price you can get name brand jeans with excellent service. Edited: items arrived the next day after this review! I will give the jeans a solid trial wear before I decide if it’s worth purchasing again. But I’m glad my items did arrive!

Don't shop Good American

Ordered two pairs of jeans, they arrived and didn't fit. I TRIED all avenues to return, website said not eligible for a return (?) I initiated the return the same day they arrive how are they not eligible for a return! Emailed customer service twice, no response. Sent DM via Twitter, it was read no response. I mailed them back to the address on the label, have tracking info and will dispute the charge. SO disappointed in this company.

Horrible shopping experience and customer service. Bought jeans and received an email that my order has shipped on 23.11. Weeks later - no delivery. Even contacted DHL and they kept telling me the package wasn’t even handed to their courier while at GA they were claiming (lying) it’s on the way. Every contact with the customer service ended in the same generic response. The jeans arrived a month later. Size and length completely off. In the name it says the jeans are a 33” inseam and on the jeans it says that its a 29” inseam. The length is the reason I bought them in the first place. Also, they fit horribly although I used their size chart - they’re too big. Tried to return them immediately but their online returns system was down. Now it’s Christmas and by the time they’re back my return window will be closed and its gonna be a another cycle of trying to get a response without success. Since they don’t offer refunds, I have no idea what I could get in exchange to not be screwed and disappointed again!!! Good American - shame on you! Especially at this price tag!

Perfect jeans, sit comfortable and look fabulous

I have written here before with a bad review because customer service was really really bad and the jeans had not arrived yet after one and a half month. But I have to give it to them, the jeans itself are really good!! The fit perfectly! So yeah had to correct that.

The customer service really is trash like everyone says - it’s 2:15pm and i’ve been on the chat since 10:30am when it opened. my first msg was sent at 10:32am and didn’t get a generic response till 12:25pm. I responded right away within seconds and still haven’t heard anything. All I wanted was for them to honour my 15% discount code I forgot to add as I am a first time customer but because of their extremely poor and non existent customer service, I likely will never buy again

They don't send the things you pay for and they don't send your refunds

Sent an order back - no refund. Stupidly in the meantime placed another order. Hundreds of dollars worth of jeans and they send me an inactive DHL number.. they haven't even handed the order to DHL. I message and message to get a response saying 'oh it looks like it's in transit' it's not it has not moved. The product has not even left their facility. They are the worst. Don't order from them.

I ordered jeans on Oct 16th. I got a notice that it shipped the 19th… 3 weeks later, no jeans and no update on shipping. There’s no number to speak to someone. Only automated responses that tell me NOTHING. I have family pictures on Friday the 12th and I’m totally SOL. This is my 3rd order of jeans and I love them but because of the customer service, I’ll never ever order from here again. I ordered a pair of jeans on October 17th. It is now November 6th and the FedEx tracking still doesn’t show that fedex has received the package. I have emailed Good American and got an auto response back. There is no phone number to talk to an actual person and find out where my jeans are. Terrible experience UPDATE: Finally, I sent another email just stating: “No jeans yet” and received a response from a customer representative I am assuming apologizing because my package had gotten lost in transit. I received the replacement quite quickly. However, there is no justification for having anyone waiting with no updates for over a month

Update! They contacted me shortly after this and resolved issue easily. I do like the jeans I’ve received so I’m changing my review to 4 stars. I would order again but not if I needed the item quickly. I really love the jeans but the customer service is just horrible. They sent me the wrong size. I patiently waited got a reply from them after 3 days like their automated system says. They asked for pictures proving the jeans were the wrong size, I replied very quickly with multiple pictures. It’s been a week and radio silence on their end. All I want is the size I actually ordered! The one they sent me is double my normal size and is much too large.

GoodAmerican has THE WORST return policy. They do not have free returns, the charge a re-stocking fee and they do not refund taxes paid! Pretty sure THAT is illegal. They're terrible to deal with. Buy anything else from anyone else. Avoid at all costs....because it will cost you an arm and a leg to return anything. Scam

I have bought 2 pairs of good pants…

I have bought 2 pairs of good pants from them and I was happy to promote the company until they failed. I got a final sale pair of jeans that had buttons that weren't attached on the bottom side. I tried 5 times to get help by calling and emailing and they said that I got what I ordered but if I'm correct I ordered jeans that actually button. I understand their return policy but how do they have no accountability for their failures?

Super shady company

This is a very shady company with the worst business model. They don't refund your money even if you follow their reutrn policy. You'll get a gift card to shop at their site instead. When you inquire about it, you'll get auto responses outlining their return policy. They will only respond if you file a dispute with your bank or PayPal. Never shopping with them again, despite their famous owners. It's the worst way to treat people let alone your customers

I hope to get back to five stars as I love the GA brand. There are some shipping issues and it takes a little longer than the window GA provides, with that said, this is A+ quality product. You will not be disappointed. I did receive my order a little over a week after GA’s “expected” date. Overall I am happy with my purchase.

Do not buy from this website

Do not buy from this website. They advertise free shipping and returns and overnight delivery. Took about a week to come then sizing is odd and can't even print return label for 2 items. Also want $15 for a return!!

I’m extremely pleased with Good American…

I’m so pleased with Good American Jeans. I had an issue with a pair of jeans I bought and they sent me a new pair a couple days later no questions asked. These jeans are so comfortable and my are my favorite jeans They are a little pricey but worth every penny. If you don’t have a pair you are missing out!

Weeks and weeks to ship (if you even get the items)

Ordered some denim, expecting it may take up to 4 days for order to process. After 2 weeks, order still has not been processed for shipping. I emailed support to cancel my order, and they just sent me a $30 coupon for a full priced item. Now they are completely ignoring my support requests for refund. Ended up just filing a charge back with my credit card. Who knows if I’ll ever see the items shipped. Major operational issues at GA, and very poor customer care for the price point.

Awful. Just awful. I waited for a month and heard nothing then I emailed and was told its on its way.... SUPRISE it was not. I emailed again, 2 weeks later and was told not to email again because it would push my order back....the hell??!! So 2 months down the line, I get an email saying they canceled my order. The whole experience is pure trash. Nah thanks 😒

I have never been as frustrated trying to return something I purchased online. I will never, I repeat never order from them again and will be certain to let anyone and everyone know how poorly their customer service is. From waiting on the order to be shipped to getting automated responses regarding the return. Can't believe they are a legit company.

Literally the same issues as about everyone else. Horrible customer service and my jeans still haven't shipped and I ordered them over two weeks ago. Nothing but auto responses that are not helpful from their customer service bot. If you want good american jeans I recommend purchasing them from a reliable retailer and not from their actual website.

Shipping sucks real bad

Shipping sucks real bad! A whole month wait time via FedEx. Either GA don’t have funds to expedite ship or not enough people on staff to ship goods out. Reach out to CS and they blame carrier due to weather. I say BS! What’s worst their co-brand created can dish it out on SM, but cannot follow up on product reviews! This is BAD BUSINESS. You’re better off order with Revolve… better brands and faster service!

I placed an order on the 1st January. It was shipped on the 3rd. It has been stuck in Cincinnati since then. I have contacted Customer Support several times. I haven’t received a response. I cannot text as I live in Ireland. It’s very frustrating.

Order number 9995026153 I placed an order for 3 pairs of jeans which cost me £335.20. I sent all 3 pairs back and have only been refunded £132.60. I’m hoping it is an admin error but if it isn’t it’s absolutely criminal and shady and feels very scam like. I am so worried as I have placed 2 more orders with this company since and frightened to try and return more jeans I bought from them which are completely the wrong size for me now in case I never see my money again. Usually when you send back the products to a reputable company you get a full refund minus shipping. Not sure what is going on here… *UPDATE* Good American have now resolved my complaint and given me a full refund!

Greedy horrible company!

I would give the customer service a zero. They company is greedy and doesn’t care about the consumer. Jeans are very expensive and and return policy is awful. Sale for Black Friday, you buy a Christmas gift. But there is a catch, return 21 days after placement of order. That is before Christmas . How do you know if it fits the person you bought this for. Now you are stuck with an expensive pair of jeans that don’t fit. It’s deceitful! Terrible company. I don’t have money to give away to billionaires. Not for the people that money matters to. Update: got a refund because of the review!

IS GA LEGIT!? YES!!

CUDOS to GA!! GA comes through in a holiday pinch!! I am updating this review to show that GA and their reps were very nice and responsive to my problem and unfortunate situation of not receiving our order. We filed a claim and went through the process because it was important to us. They acted quickly and appropriately and though I’m not sure what the investigation of our claim showed, they clearly understood that helping a customer, even if they believed their company was not at fault, was the right thing to do. They have earned our repeat future business and we really are appreciative for their decision. Thank you GA. What a refreshing experience for a change with all this online craziness these days. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stars !! Thankful on Christmas 🎄!

Would love to see a range for bigger bellies with thinner legs. I often have to move up in size on the waist but it causes the garment to be too big in the thigh/leg for eg, size 32/32 waist leg length(uk) leg/thigh width soze 12 uk

I cannot put into words how bad customer service at GA is. My delivery was delivered to someone else (someone I have never heard of), even though I never said I consented to my parcel being left with someone else, and customer service are just ignoring me. I initially had some lazy email sending a tracking link which just shows it has been signed for by this mystery person, but no address or photo. I have since emailed GA 3 times and been ignored. £400 spent on jeans and I have neither the jeans, nor the money. Would highly recommend avoiding GA. No idea what the jeans are like since mine never came, but if you have any issues, you will spend weeks trying to get help or your money back.

The customer service team is really bad and non-existent and the company does not care about the clients. I paid for express shipping and this has not even shipped. I had been receiving emails to make my first order for months and decided to buy from them directly on a black Friday sale. WORST decision ever, my item hasn't shipped and I paid extra for faster shipping. I'm leaving the country to spend the holidays with my family abroad and won't be back in January, and my order doesn't even have a shipping date. I ordered 4 pairs of jeans. 1 was 6 sizes too small AND not even the same kind of Jean I ordered. Another pair had no zipper.. I reached out to customer service over text. Someone asked my order number and name. After that they asked what was wrong. I told them my situation. no answer after that. I sent a message again this morning to follow up. Still no answer…. Extremely disappointed and expected more from good American. I paid for 4 pairs and have only 2 wearable pairs. I would appreciate getting the products I paid for and this being fixed, not ignored.

Contacted customer service twice and the one time they contacted me back they didn’t address the issue at all. Just randomly mentioned something else about the order. Once I realized the package was not going to ship in their guaranteed 4 day period, I needed to change the address or cancel because I’d no longer be at the address I shipped to. They still have not contacted me back in regard to the issue at hand. No one responds to emails and no one answers calls.

I placed an order twice online using two different credit cards and both my orders were canceled due to suspicion of fraudulent transactions. I emailed customer service 4 times and messaged them. I got no help at all. They replied asking me to use another email and phone number to place a new order. I feel very offended. They just lost $540 and way more from a great customer I will not be purchasing from there ever again! I’m very disappointed. Customer service sucks!
