DO NOT SHOP HERE! The wrong item was sent to me. When I returned this item, noting that the wrong item was sent, the store shipped it back and refused to acknowledge that they sent me the wrong item. They never sent me the correct item and refused to refund me for the item they charged me for (but never sent). Despite sending multiple photos of the package that was sent, multiple customer service representatives refused to take responsibility for their error. They insist the item isn't in their warehouse, when someone clearly managed to pack/ship it to me. I have filed a complaint with Amex but will NEVER be shopping at Bergdorf's or Neiman's again. This is truly appalling and should be treated as theft.

Careless packaging of a designer item

Ordered a Balmain blazer which arrived in a damaged boxed, not wrapped, in no bag no nothing, just rubbing against a cardboard box. I’ve never received even a cheap item packed so carelessly from other companies, so I’m truly shocked BG put so little care into packaging an expensive designer item. Will never buy anything from them again and will advise others to stay away. I could have gotten this item for less from elsewhere, but due to its cost I went with BG hoping it would be a good experience despite a higher price tag, but I was wrong!

Your return process has a serious issue but even more concerning is the fact that you have hired out your customer service to third-party countries that do not speak or understand English. Please let me be clear that this is not a citizen issue, it is an issue that you have an existing process issue and I cannot contact your provided customer service number and have a complete conversation with someone about it. I just had an order cancelled because they posted the wrong price on the item and so after spending hours trying to “fix” what they initially said the problem was, the payment method, today the excuse is that they made a mistake with the advertised price and so that’s it. I purchased a pair Louboutin Cameo boot December 10, 2021 I received them on December 20, 2021 I wore the boots on January 8, 2022 I noticed the bottoms were peeling looking cheap. I gave Bergdorf Goodman customer care a call I was asked to send pictures of the boot to a supervisor for review while I was on the phone with customer care. Well I told after they looked at the pictures I sent that this was normal wear. So said after only wearing these boots once this is considered normal wear. I spent $1700 on these boots as a treat to myself for my birthday what a disappointment because I really like the boots but I don't want to wear them anymore because they look cheap. I will not purchase anything else from Bergdorf Goodman because the customer sucks.

Horrible experience. I ordered an item and was sent the wrong item. Contacted the store and they sent a shipping label and I was told they would exchange the items once they received the wrong item back into the warehouse. Then, I was told that they would actually just send a refund in a check. I asked for it to be sent back to the original form of payment. I have literally been told a different story by 6 different customer representatives. I have yet to receive my refund back on an item that was not my fault and wrongfully placed. Then, I was told I would receive my refund on today. I hadn’t heard anything so then I contacted customer service again and was told the refund is still being requested and there is no date when I will receive refund. How unprofessional and chaotic. I am severely disappointed and concerned and have had to reach out to my bank, at this point, to receive my money back. Please do not order from here. Bergdorfs sent me a used $2,650 Loewe bag!

I will never trust Bergdorfs with my luxury purchases -- ever again! I ordered a NEW Loewe handbag ($2,650) and received a used/returned monstrosity. Unacceptable. Disgraceful. I received a Loewe bag that was clearly used (and likely a return that they reshipped to me without proper quality assurance). The handbag had a: - large dent in the bottom - dent on the front bottom of the bag - worn strap - Neiman Marcus tag (not attached) - Loewe tag (not attached) and torn And the bag was not packaged correctly... no store packaging or boxing, just a flimsy transparent dust bag with some paper filling in a crumpled box. It was not properly packaged. It's as if some sales girl fetched it from Neimans (I placed the order at bergdorfgoodman.com), pulled it off the display, threw it in the box and shipped it off. The tags were crumpled and stuffed in the bag -- not attached. This confirms the bag was definitely not NEW. It had clearly been used and returned. I have spoken to a representative, received a pre-paid mailing label, and returned that monstrosity asap for a full refund. Do not trust Bergdorfs with your online luxury purchases. They can't be bothered to send you a NEW (not used) handbag or package it properly. ----------------- Note: I sent a follow-up email expressing my dissatisfaction and received a scripted and lackluster email which said: Dear XX, Thank you for contacting Bergdorf Goodman. My name is XX, and I am happy to take care of you today with your damaged item for your order WB... Be sure to fill out your packing slip and enclose it with your return, or enclose a note stating your order number, name, address, the reason for the return, and directions for an exchange or refund. You will be notified by email once a credit has been issued to your account for the return. Returns take approximately 10 - 14 business days to be fully processed. On the other hand, Your feedback is important to us and has been sent to the appropriate department. Our management team is always looking for new ways to improve our business. If I could rate it zero I would. I bought a pair of Christian Loubitan $950 shoes. Never wore them because they were too high,plus I have a bad knee so they heel as too thin and too high. Returned them but after 3 weeks of trying to find out what happened to the return, they said they would not refund the shoes and were sending them back. I was super excited, this 2021 Independent day. I’m browsing the Bergdorf Goodman website. And to my surprise they have Christian Louboutin‘s on sale for $338 a pair. Is this a joke? I’ve been watching these for months. And now is my chance to own a pair. You have to call for assistance to purchase. So, I get a sales rep on the phone she tell me that the shoe are available 😍 in a nine and a nine in a half. Now I’m super excited!! Im so over joyed I wanna scream!! I’m in the process of ordering the shoe. Yes!! I give her all my information and it’s time for her to push the order button and she said can you hold on for a minute. 😵 She leaves me on hold for about 10 to 12minutes. She come back to finish up the order and say to me how she doesn’t own a pair of these shoes so she can’t tell me if these sandals run small or not. Then say’s oh this is the Neiman’s website inventory. But I didn’t call Neiman’s ma’am! I called Bergdorf’s. So, I say okay well I’ll take the 9 1/2 she say okay. She go to place the order, and started saying, she’s sorry it’s no longer available 😳So, I say I’ll take my size which is the 9 just for her to say it’s also unavailable.😭😭 This person goes on to tell me how, when Louboutin’s are on sale they go fast. REALLY!! Well why would she delay my order? Why would she put me on Hold? Why give me a speech about how you don’t own a pair? Because now I don’t either!!! My feelings are crushed and I am so disappointed in the Bergdorf Goodman’s sales representative. That handle this call at 7:50 pm Please hire knowledgeable people with experience. That doesn’t stop someone from purchasing something, they work for, because you don’t own a pair. Make sure they know how to look up items in your establishment. I placed my order on April 13th and still haven't received half of it. I called customer support, sent messages and an email to get information when my order would be shipped. I received an automatic email saying that part of my order is out of stock, but I can see that it is in stock and you can buy it, but only for the full price (I bought with 50% off). Disappointing customer service

I had a lot of trouble getting help in the store’s shoe salon, finally got a good salesman after a couple hours waiting and looking around, he did a great job of overnighting a pair of shoes in 2 different sizes at the store’s expense so I could try both, and he told me I could have their in store cobbler widen a shoe if needed. Sounded great. But when I tried to reach my salesman by phone and text and the salon by phone (3 times) to organize in- person help from the salesman and cobbler in choosing and fitting the shoe, I could not reach anyone. I left a voicemail with the department early in the day; an unknowledgeable person phoned back at closing time, too late for me to take care of this. I only had today to address this before my return deadline and now I have no help on size choice. The woman who phoned back suggested I should have phoned them a few days in advance to organize things for today. I suppose that would have been prudent but I work long hours during the week and had hoped a luxury store would be more available and responsive.

I ordered a sunglass for my sister for Christmas, and it took them almost a month to ship. I called and customer service gave me some discount for "inconvenience" and told me he would have shipping rush my order, but it still came later than what he told me. The product arrived and when my sister opened her present for Christmas, the item was broken, and I had to ship them back. It took 2 weeks for them to process my refund and only gave back the amount that was already discounted by the item being delayed. I ordered a handbag from Bergdorf Goodman and it arrived in a badly packaged box - torn at the top. All of the handle's hardware were abrasive looking and scratched. The leather was scraped on one side. In my opinion, it was used and returned / put back on the shelf for sale. Very dissapointing from BG. I don't think I can trust their website/online shopping anymore. I returned it today via my choice of carrier / paid for insurance /proof of receipt (return shipping fee $71). Update: I did receive notification from BG that my return was received. However, no comment from them about my experience or the fee that I paid to ship it back. They did offer free return via federal express, but no "insurance" was included. Who would they believe if it never showed up?

If ZERO is an option, they deserve a ZERO. Awful experience. Ordered for Christmas, it says it will be delivered on 12/21, just in time for Christmas. 12/21 comes, no item arrived. I called and they said, it’s a bit delayed but it will be shipped overnight so you’ll have it on the 23rd. On the 23rd, I called again because now, it’s almost Christmas and I need the item as a gift. It was delayed again per customer service. It says it will be delivered on the 27th, latest 28. Well, guess what, NOTHING delivered and it’s almost Jan 3, because I am typing this at 10:20pm. What a mess! So horrible. No one should be shopping from this store anymore. Horrible and Disappointing Christmas Experience. As a new customer, I purchased a McQueen clutch online after they sent me by text 20 percent off. Then BG site promised a 600.00 gift card. This was a big surprise gift for my 30 yr old daughter who had a tough year. I paid for 2 day shipment. I figured Christmas was a week away. I got a being processed email every day for 4 days. No confirmation about the 600.00 gift card. I was on hold waiting for a supervisor for hrs. Finally got one. She said I was not entitled to the gift card because of the 20 percent off i received. I made her read their exclusion policy. She agreed I was correct and she would authorize the gift card. It is now 10 days after order. No clutch bag delivered for Christmas, no 600.00 gift card, no email stating any information only maybe around December 27 the bag might be delivered. The Supervisor was Jane. I think the Inspector General should investigate this store and it's fraudulent practices in offers, delivery practices, and discount offers as well as gift cards. This company is full of liats that get hired for managers. I placed a $1400 order for same day delivery while I was in the phone with the agent. I knew the value of the item could cause issues with verification, so I made sure to keep the agent on the phone. He reassured me that everything was OK. Come delivery day, I still haven't received my shipping confirmation, or a cancelation email!!! I went on the order status page, only to find it was canceled without any kind of notification. I contacted bergdorf and spoke with this lying manager b**** Debora. She was absolutely useless and I've already spoken to a contact at bergdorf to have her terminated by the end of this week. She lied about her name, but my contact was able to track her down. I've now placed another order, and I can't even find the order on the order status page. THIS COMPANY IS A S*** SHOW! WHEN I CALLED BACK AT 7:30 TO FIND OUT WHY IT WAS CANCELED, THEY CANNOT (WILL NOT) TELL ME. THE DID TELL ME THE ITEM IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE!! SINCE IT WAS A SAME DAY DELIVERY AND THE STORE CLOSES AT 7, SOME P**** Of S*** sold the bag while it was being processed!!!!! I just contacted my lawyer and he had already drafted a consumer fraud letter to their legal team. I also had him look at these reviews, and I'm hoping he gets a bit of justice for some of you. They have all kinds of excuses for canceling orders. If your billing and shipping don't match, they cancel your order. People send gifts to other people!! If it's your first order, they cancel your order!!! How can you have a 2nd order without a 1st order! BERGDORF, USE YOUR 3RD GRADE EDUCATION TO GAIN A TINY BIT OF COMMON SENSE!!!! IF THE VALUE OF YOUR ITEM IS HIGH, THEY CANCEL YOUR ORDER! BERGDORF, PERHAPS YOU FLAUNT YOURSELVES AS A HIGH END STORE, BUT YOU HAVE THE MENTALITY OF A $1 STORE MENTALITY.

If I could give zero stars I would. I placed an online order on 12/16/22. My card was charged and the money was taken out of my account. On 12/19/22, I received an email stating that my order was cancelled per my request. I NEVER cancelled my order as it was a Christmas gift for my daughter. I called and spoke to an agent regarding my order and was then told that the order was cancelled because my credit card information did not match with the billing address. When I asked about the email that stated the order was cancelled per my request, all the agent could tell me was that it was more than likely an error. I was offered “FREE SHIPPING” if I chose to re order the same item while I wait for the $1,436 to be returned to my account. I will NEVER order from them again!

Do not buy from this vendor!!! I purchased online last Saturday a YSL bag and credit card charge went through Sunday, when I also received a text from a certain "Mark with Neiman Marcus" verifying my purchase. I did not reply as I did not order from Neiman. Monday morning, I received an email cancelling my order and cust svc, Edgar, when I called, told me he cannot help because I need to deal with my bank. I asked for the mgr, and was put on hold for half hour, and the mgr ultimately reprocessed my overnight order- to arrive Tues/Wed as I need it by then. It's Thursday today and still nothing...and cust svc advised me it is still "being processed", and that the OVERNIGHT SHIPPING only applies as soon as it is PROCESSED (indefinitely)!!!

Lack luster service

Not super impressed with their customer service. Their team is polite and I know they are only following procedures they are given but - it could be a lot better for such a high priced store. I had a fragrance that I purchased 3 months ago from them stop functioning- the sprayer stopped working completely. I could no longer use the product despite it only being 3 months since I purchased and 90% of the bottle was still full. I stored this bottle securely on a countertop and only used it a few time- it was NEVER thrown in my bag or taken on trips. No reasons a good product should stop working unless it’s defective. Their customer service could only offer 10% back as a “one time courtesy” after I pushed - which I accepted because it was clear they were not interested in standing by the product they sell. I’m not sure how a high-end department store like that can claim they give luxury service when they can sell defective products and not care once it’s past the return window. Whether it was 14 days or 90 days the product should not have stopped working until the fragrance bottle was empty. Not interested in growing my business with BG any further.

Dallas store fraud

I have been very gracious with this company over the years but after today, I will no longer buy from this establishment. I ordered a beautiful pair of YSL shades. I received my package today and when I opened it, some loser stuffed a used plastic plate in the box instead of my YSL shades! This is straight up fraud and I am two seconds away from getting the police involved in this matter. The plate has a BG sticker on it so I know this was done at the store in Dallas. I will be calling to file a formal complaint. Mail fraud is a felony!

I’m normally very happy with BG, but my most recent order had a minor hiccup. If you’re local to NYC, then sometimes, the store will use a local currier service for delivery of an item they offer in-store. This is the only time I’ve ever experienced an issue with delivery. The local currier delivered to a neighboring apartment building and the mistaken recipient did not return the package to our building, lol. I hopped on a call with BG and reordered; they comped overnight shipping through Fedex so that I wouldn’t have to work with the same currier service that delivered to the wrong address. Annoying to deal with as I now have to wait for my refund to be issued on the original order, but they’re always a class act and resolve accordingly.
