Avocado Review - What We Don’t Like

During the course of several weeks, I found myself reaching for the Avocado Pajama Set repeatedly, resulting in the need for three or four cycles in the washing machine. As I expected with knitted fabrics, I noticed some pilling on the surface of the fabric after a few washes. While this is a common occurrence, it does slightly diminish the sleek appearance of the pajamas. The silver lining is that the issue can be easily remedied with a fabric shaver, restoring the pristine look of the set.

Avocado Return Policy - There’s a Fee For Returns

While my experience with the Avocado products was overall positive, I do have a minor concern regarding the brand's return policy. If you decide to return either the pajama set or robe, you have a 30-day window to do so, but unfortunately, there is a $10 return fee.

In today's market, it is quite uncommon to encounter return fees, particularly for clothing items, especially considering their initial higher price point. If I purchase a $140 pair of pajamas that don't fit me as expected, I would anticipate being able to return them without any additional charges. While it's worth noting that you can avoid the return fee by making an in-store return, it's important to mention that Avocado has only a limited number of physical locations scattered across the country.
