I've purchased so many pairs of yoga pants from alo, particularly the goddess leggings. I've owned at least 8 pair of the all black with ribbed lower leg style, and I've purchased them in contrasting colors as well. Example: Black upper leg, with grey ribbed cotton from the knee down. They were the first company offering a very long, under the heel legging for $98, now they're up to $108 or more. Each time I purchased them I would end up having to buy a new pair because they're so very beautiful until you wash them. I contacted support and they were of no help whatsoever. You might wonder why I kept buying them. Because they fit so well, I mean excellent, superior, and there were no other yoga pant makers taking time to listen to the market where women clearly show they want access to longer leggings for tall women, not legging that fit like capris. I felt stuck in a trap with them and I kept contacting support complaining about the pilling and impossible white looking lint balls that would accumulate on the fabric and crotch after every wash - no matter what I did. These fabric defects would become embedded and were impossible to remove them or roll off with the normal lint roller. Nothing worked. I had to wear the leggings this way, once they were washed, the fabric loses all of its black luster, softness and beauty - but it still had the grip and the length. I could turn them inside out. I could wash them by hand. I could air dry them. I could perform a gentle wash... I could switch to different washing and softener agents - same issue no matter what. So I ran every test to know for sure it was nothing I had done like the alo support woman implied. I found that insulting as well. They don't take responsibility and stand by their products. Something cheap is being added into the fabric of the leggings that causes an immediate break down, and very resistant lint accumulation. I am not sure what causes it but the goddess style, which is the only style I buy, end up looking awful. So, I finally give up because I suspect alo is a Chinese company so I won't be able to visit the store or bring them in to show them, and I know they really don't care to give credit or face the issue. I spent a lot of money with them and they don't seem to care about correcting the fabric issue, or even admitting to it. Therefore, I cannot recommend them, even after spending thousands of dollars with them over the last 7 or 8 years. Things are still the same and prices are even going up. I was also unable to leave an honest review on their website, which I find very odd. They make it so each time a purchase is made the orders don't stay put under an account we can visit each time. It's a shady system so I was happy to locate this Trust Pilot thread. I see many people had to come here to voice their frustrations with alo. The overall score is very low which speaks volumes. Bye alo. I'm done. If you can't own up to this and fix it, keep doing things your way. You won't have repeat customers. Hopefully victoria secret will stock their super long, soft, tummy tucking, yoga-pant leggings again one day, or I'll find a way to make and sell my own. What a shame. I'm honestly so bummed to leave this review, but alo has let me down twice now, and I don't want others to make a $200 mistake on yoga pants that literally fell apart after just one gentle cycle wash and 2 wears. DO NOT BUY THE HIGH-WAIST AIRBRUSH LEGGINGS! The crotch completely fell apart in MULTIPLE places while I was PRACTICING YOGA, in a public class! I had to wrap my sweatshirt around my waste just to get home without my lady parts being exposed. I'm a reasonable woman, and bought two pairs of the exact type/color. One seems perfectly fine, but when I reached out to alo with photos, they said it was not a defect and refused to refund or exchange my purchase. Short of taking a lie detector test or having my yoga peers give comical testimony, I'm not sure what else to do, but this was an honest to goodness, swear on your Mama, case of a faulty product. alo refuses to make it right, so I'm warning the people the only way I know how. Save your money and look into other alternatives brands because alo does not care about their products or their long-time loyal customers and its beyond disheartening.

I don't know where to begin with Alo's customer service. this is the service you'd expect from Shein - and not a company whose products are rarely less than $100. I actually think I've received better customer service from shein than alo, come to think of it. Alo seems to intentionally wait to ship out items that you purchased on sale until one of the items is out of stock. I know this because I ordered a sale order several days ago, and it took 4-5 days to ship out, but the non-sale order I placed once a bra I had been waiting for was restocked was sent out the next day. If they wait until an item is out of stock for your sale order, they only give you the option to purchase it at full price. This is a great business model for scammers- advertise limited sales, and then fail to fulfill the central item in the order, making the other items purchased useless. I say that alo is intentional in this because they WILL NOT HONOR the price at which you purchased it on sale once it restocks, or if you want it in another size/color. I'm not asking for a sale price to be honored weeks or anything post-sale, but immediately after, once they failed to update their website stock appropriately. I have never, ever had this experience purchasing items on sale from a company before. In these situations, I have ALWAYS been honored with the sale price from the company when the problem was on their end. This is an absolutely insane way to treat customers when your products are this expensive. I thought alo was pretty legit - but these reviews tell a different story.

I called there and they say we’re waiting for UPS to return it to us. Bought the cashmere jet set with hoodie (3 pieces) for Christmas after much thought but after 3 wears (and a dry clean!) I had a hole right in the butt of the pants. I trimmed it to darned it and sent a picture of the hole but Alo wouldn’t replace it. I spent $300 on each trash cashmere piece and it quickly looked cheap despite utmost care. Immediately got a hole from poor threading in the rear despite dry cleaning for typical cashmere care and the brand won’t stand behind their products. Unless you’re looking for disposable cashmere, stick to the brands you already know and love. I won’t be returning as a customer.

I purchased 3 of their splendor bras during the Black Friday Sale and I was truly disappointed. In the photos, the bras looked like the have support and contouring. In person, the bras squished my chest making my boobs look saggy and aged and the fit made me look terrible. I am so angry about these bras and the fact that they don't come with any padding, leaving your boobs to just sort of hang there. They look terrible under a T shirt and I would never ever wear these. Alo never confirmed replacement product order was canceled. I had to stay on top of following up with Alo only receive poor customer service and response time.
